- February 1, 2010 — The Federal Reserve has launched a website to help new bank directors learn how they can work to ensure the safety and soundness of their institutions. The website, BankDirectorsDesktop.org,
also provides a refresher course for experienced board members. See the press release. 
- November 13, 2009 — Federal Regulators Reopen Comment Period for Correspondent Concentration Risks Guidance:
The federal bank and thrift regulatory agencies announce today they are reopening the comment period on proposed guidance on correspondent concentration risks, originally published on September 25. The comment period will be open until November 27, 2009, an additional 30 days after the original comment period closed.
